Once you're in Porto Airport, how do you arrive to your accommodation?

► The less expensive option: The Metro

The Porto metro line works with a zone system, with one rechargeable ticket that you need to buy in the metro stations. The card itself costs 0,60€.

From the airport you will need to buy a Z4 ticket to go to Porto. From airport to downtown area the ticket costs 1,95€ and it takes around 35 minutes with the Purple line E (Aeroporto – Estádio do Dragão). The first one starts around 05:58 am and the last one is around 00:35. The frequency of the metros usually 20min. You can consult all the schedules here. Check also the Metro line map.

After you buy the ticket, you need to validate it in the yellow controle machines (There are no controllers, but they might appear inside the metro to check your ticket).

If you need to store some luggage the Main metro station TRINDADE have some amount of lockets that work from 6am until 1am of the next day. You can check the prices and sizes here.
